2001 - Danube bicycle tour from Passau to Vienna

Here you will find pictures from our bicycle trip from Passau to Vienna in the summer holidays 2001 - always along the Danube river.
First we went to Passau by car. After a overnight stay we started with our bikes and with luggage to direction Vienna.
Altogether we covered a distance of 360 km in only 6 days - and without any problems. Here we passed some famous landmarks and viewpoints as they are the Donauschlinge nearby Schloegen, the Concentration Camp Mauthausen and Abbey Melk.
Arrived in Vienna we stayed another 2 days for sightseeing before finally go back to Passau by train.
